From London with Love

This Saturday I had the great pleasure of spending the most glorious sunny morning with Rupert and Megan in Trafalgar Square to celebrate their engagement. We took a walk down to The Mall with a view of Buckingham Palace in the distance, then continued our stroll past Downing Street into Westminster and across the bridge with the amazing views of Big Ben, The London Eye, The Thames and Westminster Bridge. Its only a short walk but you get to see so much of what makes London great. We did a lot of tourist dodging and even managed a black cab ride for all of 5 seconds!

I met these guys at Olivia and Adams wedding this summer down in Hampshire and so I was thrilled when they asked me to do some fun photos for them to really capture their love for London.

Rupert and Megan met last October at a mutual friends 30th birthday party and have been inseparable ever since. Megan is from Philadelphia and has been in UK for 3 years until recently where her job took her back to USA. Megan and Rupert have been having a long distance relationship since July, but Rupert has decided to make the move across the pond so they can be together……..So to celebrate, Rupert and Megan went on a holiday to Athens and Santorini and Rupert decided to pop the question whilst there!

They plan to marry next summer in Philly, with a big church wedding followed by a reception at a really cool, old club called The Union League of Philadelphia. They also plan on taking a mini-moon to Hawaii followed by a visit to Africa for a safari in Okovango Delta and a visit to Victoria Falls.
Wow – this couple certainly have a lot to look forward to and I wish them the best of luck with all their planning!
Here’s a few shots from Saturday, a cold crisp and sunny day in London town.
