Eastbourne Rocks

Helen & Stu were due to marry at the end of Eastbourne Pier this summer. You may remember our Engagement shoot from back in May! I’m so thankful we got to do that now as little did we know back then what was about to occur!

At least those photos came in handy for the National Press coverage they were about to gain…..and I’m sure it all helped in finding them a stunning new venue in little under 3 weeks!

The Grand was to be the new venue for Helen and Stu’s big day, the irony being that this is where Stu proposed to Helen one year ago! So it seemed a perfect choice! I can’t imagine the stress these two must have been under in trying to re-arrange suppliers and timings and all those details they’d put so much time and effort into over the past year.

All that stress melted away the moment Stu laid eyes on Helen as she walked down the aisle with her Dad by her side, it was finally happening and everything was perfect!

The bridesmaids shone in their Vivien of Holloway dresses. I’d met most of their friends before at the wedding of Becky and Dave last year where we did some ‘swishy dresses’ shots. You may notice our re-enactment here below.

We even managed to dodge the odd shower down on the beach where we had fun with the portrait shots before heading back to the Grand for the Wedding Breakfast. Helen and Stu kept to their seaside theme with a sweet bar and a fun photo board. I can’t even begin to tell you how amazing their cake was too, made be their very talented bridesmaid Jo with mini deckchairs on top of a sandcastle style top cake surrounded by cupcakes of little Mr Whippy 99’s with flakes in, all matching the purple and white polka dot theme! Talented mates are the best!

So if you only have 3 weeks to arrange your wedding – just take a look at this one to prove it really can be done in no time at all!

Lots of love to the new Mr and Mrs Pearce.

Ps. Eastbourne Rocks!
